What it is

Every tool in the AI Creative directory sits in one of three tiers:

• Auto-generated overview - scraped from the vendor’s site and summarized. Baseline coverage, no editorial opinion.
• Editor-reviewed - an AI Creative editor has read the docs, tested the free tier, and added opinion on trade-offs.
• Hands-on reviewed - a team member used the tool on a real project, captured samples we created with it, and rated it for practical use.

Hands-on reviewed tools display a green checkmark on listing cards and a "Hands-on reviewed by AI Creative" badge on their detail page, along with the actual creative samples we produced.

Why buyers trust it

The AI tool space is full of landing pages that overpromise. The Hands-on Reviewed badge signals that:

• Someone on our team actually used the tool, not just watched the demo video
• The output quality claims are testable - you can see samples we made
• Our trade-off assessment is based on lived workflow, not spec-sheet summarization

How to get Hands-on Reviewed

We choose tools to hands-on review based on reader interest and our own production needs. Vendors can put their tool on our radar by:

1. Submitting your tool (free) if it isn’t already in our directory
2. Providing trial access for the team at create@aicreative.ai - include what makes your tool different from the 2-3 closest alternatives
3. Being patient - we hands-on review maybe 1-2 tools a month. We don’t accept payment to upgrade a tier. Affiliate commissions and sponsorships are separate and clearly labeled.

This is not paid placement

You can't buy a Hands-on Reviewed badge. Vendors who want paid promotion can sponsor the newsletter or engage us through the agency - those are separate and clearly labelled.
